Provides advocacy, education and support for people with developmental disabilities and their families. Links people to a wide range of services for people in Cabarrus County with mental retardation, including the Special Olympics. Provides a family support program, Operation Santa and acts as an adviser to the local self-advocacy group, Cabarrus Champions.
